TUBERCULOSIS has 3
stages .their are intial,latent and post primary infection.during the first
stage bacteriam entering into the body.usually enters lungs ,and multiply over
the period of 3 weeks.in the latent stage
the individual may remain in this stage for weeks to years, depending on
the body’s ability to maintain specific and nonspecific resistance. and in the
last stage occurs .he body is unable to contain the infection, and a necrotic
and cavitation process begins in the
entry port. The lungs are the most common site for third stage disease, but it
may occur anywhere in the body. Untreated disease has many remissions and
exacerbations.
